Chinese tech giant Baidu announced a partnership with Switzerland’s PostBus to launch its autonomous vehicle service, “Apollo Go,” in the Swiss market. The expansion marks Baidu’s first major foothold outside Asia for its robotaxi business, signalling global ambitions for driver-less mobility platforms.

Switzerland’s regulative ecosystem for autonomous vehicles is considered robust, offering a showcase environment for the service’s safety and compliance features. Baidu will deploy its full self-driving stack, sensors and operational backend alongside PostBus’s existing public-transport infrastructure.
