Saudi Arabia and Pakistan sign mutual defence pact
Saudi Arabia and Pakistan announced a mutual defence agreement that formalises closer military and strategic ties between the two countries. The pact commits both states to enhanced joint training, intelligence sharing, and coordinated responses to security threats in the Gulf and South Asian theatres.
The deal aims to deepen an already robust partnership driven by expanded arms sales, defence cooperation, and growing diplomatic alignment. Officials said the agreement is intended to stabilise regional security amid shifting power balances and broader diplomatic engagement across the Middle East and Asia.
