Arshad Adnan: The New President of Telepab

Arshad Adnan, the head of ‘Versatile Media’ and the producer of two of the most commercially successful recent films ‘Priyotoma’ and ‘Rajkumar,’ has been appointed as the new president of the Television Program Producers Association of Bangladesh (Telepab). The new committee was announced at the bi-annual conference held last Saturday at the Banani Club in Dhaka, electing Arshad Adnan as president for the term 2024-2026.
The entire Telepab community is delighted and excited to have Arshad Adnan as their president. When his name was announced at the event, the hall erupted in applause, a moment that has since gone viral on social media. Arshad Adnan himself expressed immense happiness at being appointed as president.
Upon taking up his new role, Arshad Adnan said, “I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone for electing me as the president of Telepab. I am dedicated to working for Telepab, and God willing, my first task will be to bring YouTube content under policy compliance. We will sit together with everyone and bring everything within policy guidelines, Insha’Allah. I need everyone’s support, cooperation, and input for this. Ultimately, I, along with everyone, will work to protect the interests of producers.”
Rokeya Prachi and Mir Fakhruddin Choton have been elected as vice-presidents of Telepab. Sajjad Hossain Dodul is the general secretary, Ashraful Alam Bablu the joint general secretary, Ananya Iman the organizing secretary, Sanjit Sarkar the treasurer, Farooq Mahmud the office secretary, Masud Karim Sujan the publicity and publication secretary, and Mokhlesur Rahman the legal affairs secretary. The five executive members are Manowar Pathan, Saju Muntasir, Raju Alim, Jahangir Hossain Babur, and Ainul Islam Chanchal.
Meanwhile, under the production of Arshad Adnan and directed by Saif Chandan, the shooting of the film ‘Saheb’ starring Shariful Raj and Idhika Pal will soon commence. The movie, produced by ‘Versatile Media,’ is set to release next year.
