Iconic Romance Film Gets a Korean Twist
Jung Jinyoung and TWICE’s Dahyun are set to star in the Korean remake of the cherished Taiwanese coming-of-age romance film “You Are the Apple of My Eye.” The announcement was made on June 10 by production companies STUDIO TAKE and Jayuro Pictures.

First Look Revealed
The production team released the first images from the film, which began shooting earlier this month. The original film narrates the journey of high school troublemaker Ko Ching Teng and model student Shen Chia Yi, spanning their school years and 15 years into the future.

Stellar Cast and Characters
Jung Jinyoung, known for his roles in “The Dude In Me” and “Sweet Home,” will play Jin Woo, a character based on Ko Ching Teng. He portrays a playful youth who matures through the pain of first love. Dahyun will play Seon Ah, the counterpart to Shen Chia Yi, characterized as shy yet strong.

Excitement from the Stars
Expressing his enthusiasm, Jinyoung said, “I am happy to have been cast in a project that I have affection for. I will do my best to convey the emotions of the original film.” Dahyun shared her excitement as well, stating, “It is an honor to greet viewers through the big screen with such a great project. I will work hard to produce a great project with the best collaboration with my senior actors.”
