Sequel officially announced, production begins
Paramount and producers confirmed that a third Camp Rock film is in production, with the Jonas Brothers set to return and Demi Lovato attached to star, reviving the early-2010s Disney franchise for a new generation. The move signals studios’ continued appetite for sequels that blend nostalgia with contemporary streaming audiences.
Producers said filming is underway and that the project aims to balance original fans’ expectations with fresh storylines and modern music production. Industry sources noted studio confidence in franchise IP to drive subscriptions and branded music releases across platforms.
