The pair, who previously headlined Padmaavat and Bajirao Mastani, reunite after a five-year gap. The new chapter will reportedly expand into post-independence Lahore and trace the courtesans’ transition into film and music industries.

Bhansali said the series will merge cinematic visuals with global OTT storytelling, reflecting Bollywood’s evolution from theatre releases to international streaming stages.
