Last Sunday night, Bangladeshi film superstar Shakib Khan and popular actress Bidya Sinha Mim briefly met at an event. Both stars were busy taking selfies with guests, leaving them little time to converse.

Despite their brief interaction, Mim shared that their conversation centered around the movie ‘Toofan,’ directed by Raihan Rafi. Mim mentioned, “Shakib Bhai said that ‘Toofan’ is generating great interest from audiences abroad. I promised to watch it soon, as I have just returned to the country after a long time abroad.”Mim also noted the popularity of two songs from ‘Toofan’ and congratulated the team on their success.

Past Collaborations Shakib Khan and Bidya Sinha Mim have worked together on two films: ‘Amar Praner Priya’ and ‘Ami Neta Hobo.’ ‘Amar Praner Priya,’ directed by Zakir Hossain Raju, featured the hit song ‘Ki Jadu Korecho Bolona.’ ‘Ami Neta Hobo’ was directed by Uttam Akash.

Shakib Khan’s upcoming film ‘Dord,’ directed by Anonno Mamun, is set for a September release. Meanwhile, Mim has completed filming ‘Digante Phuler Agun,’ directed by Wahid Tariq, where she plays the role of the wife of martyred intellectual Shahidullah Kaiser.
