Retailers, banks roll out discounts and EMI deals

India’s retailers and distribution partners announced cashback, exchange bonuses and long EMI schemes for the iPhone 17 series ahead of its Sept. 19 sale, the Hindustan Times reported on Sept. 17. Major distributors are offering bundled finance plans and instant discounts to spur upgrades.

Availability and trade incentives noted

The package of offers includes bank-specific programs and “assured buyback” plans designed to lower upfront costs for buyers. Analysts say offers may vary by region and stock levels during the first week of sales.
