U.S. Trade Delegation to Visit Dhaka to Boost Trade and Investment Ties
A high-level delegation from the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative is set to visit Dhaka from May 5 to 7, aiming to deepen trade and investment cooperation between the United States and Bangladesh.
The delegation will be led by Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for South and Central Asia, Brendan Lynch. During the visit, discussions will focus on strengthening bilateral economic ties and advancing shared commercial interests.

Focus on Trade Agreement Implementation
A key priority of the visit will be the implementation of the U.S.-Bangladesh Agreement on Reciprocal Trade. The agreement is expected to play a significant role in enhancing economic growth for both countries.
Officials believe that improved market access, removal of investment barriers, and expanded commercial opportunities will create a more dynamic and mutually beneficial trade environment.
Strengthening Economic Partnership

The visit reflects a growing commitment from both sides to reinforce economic collaboration. As global trade continues to evolve, both the United States and Bangladesh are looking to build a stronger, more resilient partnership that supports sustainable growth and investment.
The upcoming discussions are expected to lay the groundwork for further cooperation, positioning both nations to benefit from expanded trade opportunities in the coming years.
