Jin Reunites with Fans Post-Military Service
BTS member Jin made a celebrated return to the stage at the BTS FESTA 2024, held at Seoul’s Jamsil Sports Complex. The event marked Jin’s first public appearance following his discharge from military service on June 12. The annual FESTA celebrates the band’s debut anniversary, bringing together BTS and their dedicated fanbase, ARMY.

1,000 Free Hugs: Jin’s Special Gesture
In an emotional gesture, Jin hosted a meet-and-greet session where he gave 1,000 hugs to fans. This event, titled “Jin’s Greetings,” was part of a two-session program that also included a performance and special messages from Jin. The singer shared stories from his military service and expressed his gratitude to fans for their unwavering support.

A Day of Celebrations and Performances
The FESTA event was filled with various activities including photo zones, dance challenges, and performances by Jin. The celebration lasted from morning until night, allowing fans to immerse themselves in the BTS experience. Despite other members still serving in the military, Jin’s presence brought joy and excitement to the ARMY.

While Jin is the first to complete his military service, other BTS members are expected to follow. J-Hope is set to finish his service in October 2024, with Suga, RM, Jungkook, and Jimin completing theirs by mid-2025.
