For the first time, iOS 18 allows users to change the size, color, and placement of app icons, bringing a new level of personalization to the Home Screen.
Enhanced Messaging Features
The Messages app in iOS 18 now supports additional reactions, emojis, and stickers for Tapbacks. The new “Send Later” feature lets users schedule messages, and the app also introduces advanced text formatting options and RCS support.
Redesigned Photos App
iOS 18 delivers the most significant redesign of the Photos app to date. Users can now enjoy a new Trips section, customizable collections, and a carousel view for featured photos and favorites.
Security Enhancements
New security features in iOS 18 include the ability to lock and hide apps using FaceID, TouchID, or a passcode. This ensures sensitive content remains private, even in search and notifications.
Game Mode for Gamers
iOS 18 introduces Game Mode, improving the gaming experience with consistent frame rates during extended play sessions.
