Luipa, one of the most beloved contemporary vocalists, is making waves in the music world. Known for her captivating stage presence, she often receives requests to sing classic Bangladeshi and Indian Bengali film songs during her performances. However, Luipa remains committed to showcasing her original works, which she believes are at the heart of her artistry. While her original songs have earned her widespread acclaim, her presence in film music has been notably limited. Despite this, her sweet and melodious voice has the potential to dominate the film industry, having already mesmerized listeners with a few tracks.
Luipa made her playback debut in the film Poran, directed by Raihan Rafi, with the song Dhire Dhire Tor Shopne Ami Kakhon Je Harie Gelam, written by Robiul Islam Jibon and composed by Imon Chowdhury. The track has garnered over 4.6 million views on the Live Tech YouTube channel. Her second film song, Pagol Mon from Prem Preetir Bondhon, directed by Solaiman Ali Lebu, also gained significant popularity, crossing 6 million views on the SB Movie Songs YouTube channel.
Luipa’s third film playback opportunity came with the title track of Neel Akshe Pakhi Ure, a film by SD Rubel. She’s thrilled to have recorded the film’s title song, marking her first-ever title song in a movie. She shared her excitement, expressing her hopes for more opportunities to sing in films. She believes that with more exposure in the industry, she could offer her audience even better songs.
SD Rubel praised Luipa’s voice, describing it as full of emotion and charm, and expressed his satisfaction with their collaboration, looking forward to working with her on future projects.
