“Just as the heart pumps blood throughout the body, you fill every part of me.” These poignant words resonate deeply in Kobitay Prem, a New Year’s Day release directed by Topu Khan and written by Mahatab Hossain. The romantic drama unfolds as an emotional journey of love sparked by poetry, drawing viewers into a heartfelt experience.

The story revolves around Aru, who falls in love with a poet after reading his work on Facebook—without ever seeing him. The poet, too, is captivated by Aru. But their love story takes an unexpected turn when Aru’s marriage is arranged with someone else. Her fiancé’s friend steps in, and the plot thickens with surprising twists and emotional turns.

In Kobitay Prem, Farhan Ahmed Jovan and Keya Payel shine as the lead pair, bringing life to this unconventional love story. Shot in the picturesque locations of Tangail, the drama captivates with its striking visuals and soulful background music. For Jovan, the experience of lip-syncing to a cinematic song was a new challenge, adding a movie-like touch to the drama.

The chemistry between Jovan and Payel is top-notch, with every scene leaving a lasting impression. Their natural performances make the narrative even more compelling. The cinematography, color grading, and background score elevate the production value, making Kobitay Prem a memorable watch.

Kobitay Prem is a tale of love, simplicity, and the power of poetry. Each dialogue and moment feels like a poetic verse, blending emotion and artistry.

The drama also features an impressive supporting cast, including Monira Akter Mithu, Shiba Shanu, Jhuna Chowdhury, and many more, each contributing to the richness of the story.
