Bangladeshi actress Aparna Kirtaniya is stepping onto the global stage, marking her Hollywood debut in Fleeting Light, an upcoming film set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Leon Li, the film is produced under the banner of the renowned U.S. production company 6D Film Studios. Filming has recently taken place across various locations in Dhaka, capturing the essence of a compelling love story.
Fleeting Light explores the emotional journey of a Bangladeshi woman and a Chinese businessman, portraying their love, marriage, and eventual separation. The film blends romance, music, and deep storytelling to create a captivating cinematic experience.
Aparna Kirtaniya, well known in the Bangladeshi television industry, plays the central role. She expressed her excitement about working in Hollywood, calling it a dream come true. “Every actor aspires to be part of Hollywood, and for me, this opportunity became a reality thanks to director Leon Li. I am deeply grateful,” she shared.
Kirtaniya hopes her performance will resonate with audiences worldwide. “This film carries a unique blend of emotions and storytelling that will touch viewers’ hearts. I believe people will embrace it warmly,” she added.

Acclaimed Bangladeshi director Prafulla Banerjee serves as the film’s chief assistant director. Fleeting Light is expected to release on Amazon Prime later this year, pending final production schedules.
The cast also features Anik Khan, Khalid Mahabub, and Ayesha Siddika Diya, adding further depth to this cross-cultural cinematic journey.
