Chanchal-Maha Duo Returns in Salahuddin Lavlu’s Eid Drama

Naima Alam Maha, a rising star, garnered praise for her role in “Shila Brishti’s Sharbat” last Eid, directed by Abul Hayat. This marked her second collaboration with the esteemed actor and Ekushey Padak awardee. Previously, Maha showcased her talent in “Shonda Panda,” directed by Salahuddin Lavlu.

Upcoming Eid Special
This Eid, Maha will star in a new single-episode drama titled “Poka Diye Poka Dhora” (Catching Bugs with Bugs), directed by Salahuddin Lavlu and written by Masum Reza. Confirmed by Lavlu, Maha will be joined by Chanchal Chowdhury, reuniting the popular pair.

Chanchal Chowdhury will feature in multiple single-episode dramas and Eid special series this year. “Poka Diye Poka Dhora” is his only collaboration with Lavlu for this Eid.”Theater and TV dramas have shaped my career significantly,” Chanchal shared. Despite exploring films, OTT platforms, and international projects, he prioritizes theater and TV dramas, especially on special occasions. “Working under Lavlu Bhai’s direction is always a pleasure,” he added.

Maha expressed her admiration for Chanchal and Lavlu, citing them as major influences in her acting career. She feels honored to work with such talented individuals again.Additionally, Maha has modeled in two commercials directed by Lavlu, expected to air during Eid.
